As yet, there8217;s no word on UK availability although Oppo has insisted that it will be bringing its phones to the UK. We believe the RX17 Pro will come here, possibly alongside the Find X slider phone.
Oppo clearly wants to follow the success of other Chinese brands and break into the European market. With Xiaomi also entering the UK through Three stores as well, we8217;re set to have an intriguing choice of phones in 2019.
Indeed, the front of the 128GB phone (6GB memory) is basically the same, with a 6.4-inch 1,080 x 2,340 AMOLED display covered in Gorilla Glass 6 and with an in-display fingerprint reader underneath. It has a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. While the 6T features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 platform, the RX17 Pro’s is downgraded slightly to the Snapdragon 710.
The compensation is that as well as a 25 megapixel selfie camera you get triple cameras including a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) camera on the rear 8211; this enables you to capture 3D images. The other two rear cameras are a 12 megapixel wide-angle snapper with Ultra Night Mode and the 20 megapixel f/2.6 main camera.
There8217;s also VOOC flash charge which means you8217;ll be able to charge it to 40 percent in 10 minutes. The battery inside the phone is split into two (2x1850mAh), while the charger and handset have specialist chips so the charge can be safely monitored.
