There’s also a massive incentive for EE’s mobile customers. Pay monthly users who opt for one of the new Fibre Max plans will get a bonus 20GB of mobile data per month. That data can be used by the lead account holder of shared with the rest of the family, using EE’s new data gifting plan.
The new connections use the G.fast broadband technology from BT. It offers ultrafast speeds through the existing copper infrastructure and will be available in 1 million new homes at launch. It’s a great option for those who’re not yet served by fibre-to-the-premesis super fast connections.
Max Taylor, Managing Director of Marketing, EE said: “Our new fibre broadband plans are designed to support the demands of customers with increasingly connected homes and families. With the growth of 4K TV, smart home technology becoming more popular than ever, and more members of the family using the latest smartphones and tablets, we’re giving our customers the widest range of converged mobile and home broadband products in the UK, along with the best customer service, so they can enjoy the fastest speeds both in and out of the home.”
