

For PC gaming aficionados, the seasonal Steam Sale events are among the most anticipated happenings of the year. The big kahuna, the Steam Summer Sale 2018, is imminent according to a yet-to-be-confirmed leak.
The Steam Database Twitter account, which has often and accurately predicted the start of sales in the recent past, says the event will begin on Thursday June 21.
In a tweet at 6:04pm UK time on June 20, the @SteamDB account said the event will commence in 24 hours.

Considering previous form it appears the event will start at 6:00pm in Britain, and 1:00PM Eastern /10:00am Pacific Time in the United States.

SteamDB’s prediction also ties in with previous Summer Sale dates. It began on June 23 in 2016 and on June 22 in 2017. All signs continue to point to the tradition continuing in 2018 with a June 21 start date.
PC gamers can expect hundreds of significant discounts on popular games and downloadable content throughout the weekend. It’s not rare to see prices drop as much as 75% on top games through the weekend.
There’s no news yet on which games will be available during the timed releases, but we’ll be keeping you posted on the best deals throughout the Steam Summer Sale.
